Pub in London

One of my colleagues from across the pond tells me that the city of London is concerned about the disappearance of pubs from the city. Real estate costs are so high its difficult to justify starting a pub. The city is considering subsidizing pubs to help preserve the traditional pub culture. In the USA we bail out the auto companies, in London, its the pubs. I for one did my part to fund pubs all across the city.

I met a structural engineer at the bar. I guess us engineering geeks just naturally find each other. He was marveling at the construction of this 17th century structure.

This bar advertises a no Television environment. Michael, you would have been right at home at this place.
